Groton School is a 130-year old school of US, sprawled in a vast 385-acre campus. It was founded to inspire lives of character, learning, leadership, and service. Groton unlocks students' potential in many ways: by teaching excellent academic content, stressing on critical thinking and problem-solving, and enabling and enhancing communication skills.
The student size is limited to some 400 and there are nearly 75 teaching faculty members. It means one of the best student-teacher ratio in the world. 85% students live in the campus while 15% are day scholars.
Groton believes that students learn best through observing, absorbing, and even mimicking those who stand as their role models in classrooms, dorms, athletic spaces, theaters, laboratories, practice rooms, and studios. Therefore, an ideal ambience is created by the entire school community in which children find themselves in a learning mode all the time.
The school is open to new ideas and celebrates its multi-cultural, multi-national diversity.
